The most advertised aspect of Energizer batteries, like most other batteries, is their longevity. For this campaign, I wanted to convey the extreme of this idea. Since these people had access to Energizer batteries, they were able to see the threat before it killed them and therefore are the last ones standing. I wanted these ads to play off the popular apocalypse themes and express a bit of dark humor with the tag line 'when you're the last one standing.'
